Introduction:
Country Gospel Music is a genre of Christian music and is a combination of Christian and country music. The country gospel music artists choose to sing Christian music more when compared to secular music.
The country gospel music originated from the mix of cowboy music and mountain music. This Genre was famous mostly in the Southern part of United States of America. In the south part of USA, Christianity is widely developed and this also the place where the country music originated, so a combination of both had evolved.
The country gospel music deals with songs which are about life problems, Christian region, How to tackle life with Christ. The genre is much different from the ones sung in the olden days. The popularity of Country Gospel Music first began when a radio personality named Bob Wilson started to air this kind of genre. With the influence of the Christian religion and the Country music, the songs played on air became popular very quickly.

Tommy Brant:
Tommy Brant is an award winning Christian Gospel artist. Born in the year 1966, Tommy started his career as a sound engineer to a local Christian music band. While watching the group play, Tommy also began to play the guitar. The lead singer of the band had quit, and this opportunity gave Tommy Brant a chance to enter the group. Tommy became famous after he sang “why, why, why” which gave the band a huge recognition. Tommy has also performed with famous country singers like Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Roy Clark, etc.
The Whites:
The Whites is a family band which consists of a father (Buck) and his two daughters (Sharon white and Cheryl White). Some of their famous songs were “you put the blue in me,” “Hanging around,” “Give me back that old family feeling,” “If it ain’t love” etc. The Whites have won many awards and nominated for several including five nominations for the CMA awards.
David L. Cook:
Cook was born in the year 1968. He is a multiple Emmy and Telly awards. He began singing at the age of 5. His childhood was affected by an abusive father, and his parents’ divorce affected his influence in music. Later in the year 2009, he was diagnosed with a tumor in his thyroid which could lead to damage his voice.
Lisa Daggs:
Lisa Daggs became famous when she released her first album ‘Who are you.’ Lisa was also had to deal with her parents’ divorce, tried to ease her pain in music.
Mike Manuel:
Mike and his brothers started out the band called Manual Family group. This band became very famous on the radio, and the band began to tour across all the churches in the United States of America. He later moved to Nashville where he started to singing solo.
